Rockville Verity will be investigating each candidate's donors for donations that may interest the citizens of Rockville.

Richard Gottfried, current council candidate, received a $200 donation from Just Puppies of Maryland when he ran in 2015. Just Puppies has a store in Rockville, Maryland that sells puppies.

From a Washington Post article, Just Puppies of Maryland has used breeders that have been cited for USADA violations:

Lawmakers pointed out that one breeder used by Just Puppies, Ann Miller, had several USDA violations in 2013 — including a dachshund with dental disease, a pug with discharge coming from her eyes, and an accumulation of “dirt and grime” on the doors of dog enclosures.
